And the Grammy goes too...

So i watched the Grammy's today and intelligently blew off studying for a Bio test. The ceremony itself was decent though at times it seemed linear after watching several R&B performances. Dont get me wrong i love that kind of music, but a little more rock, acid techno, or bag pipes might do the trick. Although I will say that Amy Winehouse's reaction to winning a Grammy was priceless. Her performance was solid and always has been. Speaking of her, people ("the media") have recently gouged every corner of her life over the past few months. From her actual check in to rehab to those supposed "Spears phenomenons", who cares. If you saw the Grammy's you kno what kind of people they are. Talented Rehab artist.

New Found Secret

So over the passed few months i have been engulfed into alot of art through friends, tv, concerts, magazines, parties and random other places. It was only a matter of time before I started doing my own by creating a mini studio, if I may say, in a small bedroom. Since then i have been painting and practicing music, hoping that someday i will be doing it all at once while going to college somewhere esle besides where i am at now.

A Rush of Blood to the Head

Ever know those bands that everyone else listens to, but you could care less because it probably sucks. To me Coldplay was just...well...one of those bands. At first i thought, what the hell is a Cold Play and why are they or he/she so damn popular. For one thing I dont like much status quoish music and sometimes I am quick to judge a group without listening to their songs. Its a sucky way to find music, but we all got our flaws.

Then in the summer of 03', it all changed. I remembered going on my 8th grade weekend trip to Atlanta with a duke load of classmates. On one of those days, we went to a Braves game and I remembered listening to this catchy piano tune (Clocks) during the last few innings. Before, I heard this song numerous of times on the radio / tv without ever knowing who sang it. To sum it all up...I simply loved it. I was even sitting to myself thinking, wow, this is a kinda song Im gonna play at my wedding. Later on I found out the song was called Clocks. Of course the other part I found out was the fact that Coldplay performed Clocks. Damn you Irony, and damn you Coldplay for making such great music.

Who said you couldn't play soccer on rooftops because in Tokyo, Japan, you apparently can. Its located near Tokyu Station on top of an Adidas department store and was built after the 2002 world cup. I think its a kick ass opportunity to try out those new pair of cleats. Definitely hitting this place up when i get to Tokyo.

By the way im near damn finished with this first art piece.

This is my sister from another mister in the London Tube Station on her way to the Jazz Cafe. Speaking of London, I jus watched this new movie called Goal. It makes me want to be a professional footballer for Newcastle, but i prefer ManU any day.
